Karapiro Barn is a large country style converted Barn, close to Lake Karapiro with rural views over farmland and to Maungatautari Mountain. Comfortably sleeping 8 people, there is capacity with existing bedding for up to 12 guests.

“Karapiro Cottage” is a separate self contained country cottage, sleeping up to 6 guests.”

Both houses are situated on an acre site, each with separate driveways and gardens. Each dwelling can be let separately or together.

Both are ideally suited to travellers who enjoy their home away from home whilst holidaying. Families & small groups are well catered for.

USE Karapiro Barn OR Cottage as a base to explore the entire Waikato region or decide on a shorter break to enjoy what the immediate area has to offer. Lake Karapiro, our world class rowing venue, is only a couple of kilometers down the road & the Maungatautari Mountain Ecological Reserve walking tracks are only a few minutes drive away.

We are close to Cambridge for antique shopping and Mystery Creek Event Centre, Matamata for “Hobbitton”, Rotorua, West & East Coast beaches and Waitamo Caves. We are also only a 35 minute commute to Hamilton city & less than 2hours to Auckland.

    $95.00 per night (Cottage)
    $120.00 per night (Barn)
    Extra person rate $20.00

    Groups of 6 or more people @ $30 p/p (winter) & $35-40 p/p (summer).

    Rates are all seasonal and surcharges may apply over Events & Peak Periods.

    Min 2 night stay applies over weekends.
